R.Thomas Riley, horror author, got a chance to check out my new collection "Feminine Wiles" 16 stories of Wicked Women and here's what he had to say:

"Every so often I come across an author I really admire. John Grover is one of those authors. The guy can just plain write circles around many of his peers and he proves this with his newest collection of short stories, Feminine Wiles: Sixteen tales dealing with female villains. He writes about these women with such authority, I can't help but wonder if he's met a few of these women. I can tell he had fun writing these tales because it really shines through on the page. Discover him now. I promise you won't be disappointed in the least!" --R. Thomas Riley, Author of The Monster Within Idea and Phrenetic

Hi everyone,

Great news!  My chapbook, "Whispering Shadows" has now been published by Rainfall Books in the UK and is now ready for order.

It features 3 Lovecraft inspired tales:

The Keswick Oddity
The Case
Sugar Shack.

Act now while supplies last!  From what I hear, Rainfall chapbooks are very rare and collectible. They tend to sell out very quickly.  Check out their site for ordering information. Price is in pounds.

Hello all,

Some of you may have heard of the recent Pride and Prejudice with Zombies, the classic re-imagined with Zombies....taking two different authors, the original and today's horror author and merging them as one....well...

Now comes the next installment....

WAR OF THE WORLDS plus Blood, Guts and Zombies.

This is the new titles retold by my fellow writer Eric S. Brown, best known for his work in the zombie genre with a loyal following of undead fans!

His latest book combines the original H.G. Wells story with the cataclysmic event of the undead rising at the same time!  If you like the idea of an Alien Invasion combined with the Zombie Apocalypse then this is the book for you.

From the publisher Coscom Entertainment:

The story:

The invasion begins . . . and the dead start to rise.

There’s panic in the streets of London as invaders from Mars wreak havoc on the living, slaying the populace with Heat-Rays and poisonous clouds of black smoke. Humanity struggles to survive against technology far beyond its own, meeting fear and death at every turn.

But that’s not the only struggle mankind must face. The dead are rising from their graves with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. Friends, neighbours and loved ones lost to the war of the worlds are now the enemy and the Earth is forever changed.

It’s kill or be killed, if you want to survive, otherwise you might become one of the walking dead yourself.

Hello loyal fiends and friends,

Since Feminine Wiles has exploded onto the scene, copies have flown out of Amazon with the first batch nearly selling out and now that Amazon has reordered only 3 copies remain yet again!  To all those who have bought a copy THANK YOU! This is great news but I need help spreading the word!

If you own a copy could you please drop by Amazon and give it a review?  You don't actually have had to purchase the book there. They allow you to post a review of a product if you are familiar with it or have seen an advance copy or are planning to buy it.

PLEASE drop by and post a review or if you have read any of my short stories or read one of the many excerpts I've posted on this blog, then give an opinion or recommendation.  It would really help get the word out and generate some buzz.

I can then use these as blurbs or quotes when I do promos or signings.

Thanks again readers and here is the Amazon link:
