My baby brother just walked into my living room and said "Dad, on Valentine's day you're supposed to fall in love. If your birthday is on Valentine's Day or Groundhog's Day, or any other holiday you would be a very special person"
haha. :] He's so cute.
Anyways, I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's day. Wether you're in love, want to be in love, hate love, or are in love with someone who doesn't even know it, take this day to make someone's life a little more special because you never know how one little good deed, cute card, or even a simple complement will brighten someone else's day.
I love you all, each and everyone of you has had an impact on my life in some way, shape, or form, and I truly appreciate you and everything we've been through. Our Senior Year is nearly over, lets get the best out of every last minute together because June 2 will be our last time all together. We have been blessed with an amazing Class of 2006, and I wouldn't change it for anything. Each one of you has contributed to making our class amazing and I can guarantee no other class will have the chemistry that ours has had these past four years. I love you all.
Michelle

The only negative is that I now have an empty phone book so please text my your number! :]
PS: My #'s the same, just new phone!
Thanks all. Much love.

Yesterday I visited UIC and I loved it! Standing on home plate you could see the entire Chicago skyline, it was the coolest thing-EVER.

Prom was truly amazing.
Matt picked me up around 5:15 and we took some pictures at my house. He showed up with a dozen red, pink, and white roses;it was soooo sweet.
Afterwards we headed over to his house to pick up a flashlight and ended up taking more pictures. Mike, Bryan, Leeder, and Jon ended up being there as well.. haha.
Then we headed over to the Dvoraks where a ton of us, parents, and other people were attempting to take group pictures. They turned out really cute, I'll post them when I get back from OUTDOOR ED [which is Wednesday]
Afterwards we all raced to the Lisle-Naperville Hilton and got seats.. Our table ended up being Myself, Matt, Jason, Meghan, Jake, Carolyn, Tom, and Stacy.
Dinner was alright. The soup, salad, bread, and dessert were decent. The chicken/pasta combo was okay-kind of dry.
Overall the dance was pretty cool. The DJ was okkay. They played some songs I hate, some song I like, so I guess it worked out okay.
The dance overall was pretty fun. I took a ton of pictures. Bobby and Mo ended up being Prom King and Queen. :]
Afterwards, Matt and I raced out to Bollingbrook to pick up a tent, where I met his uncle. He turned out to be pretty cool.
Then we headed over to Chrissy's for a bonfire/cookout with Chrissy, Blake, Nicole, Justin, Linsey, Amanda, thier dates, Nikki, Zack, Billy, and some other peoples.
Next we headed over to Meghan's to meet up with her, Jason, Tom, Roger, Emily, Jake, and Sunny.
Then we headed out to the dunes around 3 am and met up with Ashley, Billy, and their crew for camping! :] :] :]
Camping ended up to be a ton of fun!!! The only negativity was the constant police bugging us. The night went by way to fast though and the next thing we all knew it was nine am and time to go to the dunes. The dunes were so pretty and the beach was beautiful.
I cant wait to put up some pictures :]
I hope you all had a safe and amazing Prom 2005 <3

Current mood: determined
I try to speak up and get shut down.
I don't need this. I don't need to hear everyone bitch and complain about how no one acts like themselves anymore, I don't need to listen to the bull about no one ever being able to stand up for themselves. I don't need it.
I'm not going to sit around and not take action. That's not how I am. I'm going to be the one to stand up for myself, recognize a problem and try to find a solution
You guys, I love you all. But this is the point where I'm just upset. I DON'T NEED TO BE THE ONE TO FIX everyones friendships, because I'm not the ones having problems with mine. I wish everyone would look back 6 months at how lovely everything was, at how everyone could hangout in a big group, be themselves, and have a great time. Where people cared about each other. Remember that? What happened?
I'm not going to lie to you all, I loved being able to always have a group of 10-15 people I could turn to. And thats how it should be.
EVERYONE in general needs to stop being so judgemental. People are who they are, I can't change that, you can't change that. Times are going to change and people are going to change. BUT the people who know how to take changes, work with them, and live with them, are the people who are going to be the strongest.
Just because whoever does whatever, doesn't mean it has to turn into World War III. I wish everyone would look in the mirror, and really think about how they act. Because I believe this is becoming ridiculous.
I wish we could all stop being so shallow and conceited. I wish everyone could act like friends again.
I wish you'd all take the time to read this and think about it.
I wish someone would have an answer, but I don't think there is one.
:sigh:

Current mood: happy
The weekend was pretty fun..
Friday ended up to be a lot more fun then I thought possible. I ended up heading over to Matt's where we chilled for a little bit before leaving to meet up with the lovely college freshman and others; Luke, Duffy, Rachel, Rachel's Roommate, Bonnie, Mike, Mike, May, Kolby, and some others at the Duffy's for a bonfire shindig.. Then Luke, Matt, and myself went out for slurpies at 7-11. Always the greatest! It was nice to see Luke and all them :]
Saturday morning meant a double header at Montini, we slottered them 11-0 the first game, then lost 3-2, YUCK. I got home in time to nap from 2-6, and then met up with mi familia at Joey's first baseball game.
Afterwards, Matt and I ended up in Chicago around ten pm, and tried to find parking around Navy Pier but were unsuccessful so we ended up parking some where else and walking to North Avenue beach and walked around for a bit.
Sunday meant working at Pizza Hut all morning which was pretty unentertaining, but at least I got some tips and made a lil $$. Then Matt and I went out and shopped and got dinner then I went home for a bit while he went to church, and then he came over afterwards.

So.. this is it, my B-E-A-utiful car! :]
School today was interesting, we had the most ridiculously easy Praire State tests all morning after our continental breakfast.
One of our questions was something like this:
. . .You are a cashier and a person comes up to you and gives you three dollars. They want change in quarters. How many quarters would you give the customer?
Come on now!
Then I had to go to practice, practice just pissed me off hard core. I'm not even going to talk about it, expect for the fact that it was gay. And I got bitched at.
So whos excited that TOMORROWS FRIDAY?
Everyone yells.. "Me Me"
I'm glad I have to comment on my own journal!
Anywhos.. I think I'm gonna go for a spin because I CAN!
<3
[EDIT] heres the back of the car

Oh how wonderful!
With Matt being way out in Cali :[, I spent the morning car shopping, dealership hopping, and sleeping.
Then Chrissy, Linsey, and myself went to YORKTOWN to find a PERFECT Prom Dress for the slacker who still hasn't gotten one, ME!
It's beautiful! It's a really pretty lightish, shimmery blue, halter type tied, tied in the back too, with pretty silver glittery pattern on the boobage area.. I'll post a picture when i finally get new batteries for my digi-cam :]
Then we drove all over the world looking for Davids Bridal to buy garters..found one but went to find another, non-excisting one. Figures.
I made a pimpass cd @ Fitz's house today too. First..Hollaback Girl!
This shit is bananas
B-A-N-A-N-A-S
Bling-Bling.
Then we visited COLDSTONE, just for Linsey who was stuck workin the night away.
Sorrys to Brian Miller who was accidentally ditched tonight, all Matthew Marshalls fault.
Hopefully the Cali-Crew will be calling soon, it's getting late and I have Pizza Hut 10-4 tomorrow. JOY.
