OMG y'all.  I can't get that Lady Gaga Disco Stick song out of my head.  Please help!  So I finally figured out how to get the internet in my trailer.  Woot!  Don't judge me.  I am not very tech savvy.  I also haven't updated the clock in my car.  It is still an hour behind.

I have a little break between scenes so I thought I'd say hello.  I just figured out what my character gets to be for Halloween this year.  Any guesses?  I'll give you a hint....some people are afraid of these.  Speaking of Halloween, I have already noticed the adorable costumes for kids in the stores!  I can't wait to dress up my little gal!  Last year she was a ladybug but she was still in baby blob mode and couldn't really appreciate how adorable she looked.  This year is going to be a blast because she is a chatty walking machine.  Isabel comes to the set every day and she now zeros in on Phyllis' desk.  Phyllis has all of these stuffed animals on her desk and Isabel has to say hello and squeeze all of them!

Ah...I was just told that I have to go in for touch-ups.  TV talk for my scene is up and they need to powder my nose etc... My scene takes place in the break room with Meredith, Kevin and Oscar.  Fun!  I gots to run. If you get a chance pop over to ivillage.com.  They have asked me to do a monthly blog and I just did my first one.  Here is the link: http://www.ivillage.com/..ivillage-celebrity-blog-..office-angela-kinsey-0/1-a-..46082.  Oh and one more link...for you Moms out there.  Isabel's new favorite book is called Z is for Zoo.  She loves the giraffe photo.  Here it is: http://weread.com/book/..0312505825/Z+is+for+Zoo+(..Touch+and+Feel+(Priddy+Books))../FBK-0312505825_-1

Um and can I just say that I am excited and nervous about my Emmy dress.  It's a little bit rock-n-roll for this jeans and a t-shirt gal. Alright I've got to go and be bitchy to some folks.  It's my job.

Have a great day!

How is everyone?! It has been SO long since I said hi.  Okay... where do I start?  How is every one's summer going?  May and June were all about reconnecting with family and friends for me and of course having some sweet sweet time with my lil' gal.  There is nothing better than hanging with Ms. Izzy.
I just got back from Boston where I was working on Furry Vengeance. What a great group of folks!  I play "Felder", Ken Jeong's assistant in the movie.  Ken and I met on the plane on the way to Boston and we hit it off immediately. And the whole cast and crew were so laid back and fun.  We would all go out for dinner and hang out after work.  It felt like an extension of The Office for me.  Such a fun work environment.  I took some pics and will find out if I can post them!  :)  Isabel came to Boston to join me and we hit some of the sites.  I really loved Boston. The Boston Children's Museum is so cool.  I think grownups like it as much as the kids!
We go back to work on The Office for Season 6 tomorrow!  I can't believe.  I am packing for Isabel's trailer tonight.  Our first episode back is written by Paul Lieberstein (aka Toby) and it is hilarious.  He will also be directing it!  We are all really excited to go back to work.  You would never know that it's our 6th year.  We all still get giddy and know how great we have it.  I usually get the gals a little gift for their trailer.  I am thinking fancy soaps for this year.  Any cute ideas?  And Jenna if you just read this...act surprised when you see your soaps.  :/  So here is a list of my favorite things from this summer...share some of yours too!  Oh and I have to mention that I loved working on my Clairol campaign.  I have never had such sassy hair!  Here is a link to some bloopers from shooting the commercials:

Oh oh oh and a big CONGRATS to my bff, Ms. Fischer! Her hubby to be is the sweetest southern fella.  He's from Texas!  I have already planned our Christmas family get togethers for the next couple of years.  Hahaha.  Jenna threw me the most awesome baby shower so I told her that we have to do something fun and girlie for her wedding.

Here's my list of stuff that got me through the summer:
1. Song: Stir It Up.  Bob Marley and The Wailers.
2. Sweet:  The mini cupcake pack of 12 at Big Sugar Bake Shop.  (Red Velvet, Vanilla and Chocolate).  http://www.bigsugarbakeshop...com/
3. Toy:  Go to Target.  Buy the small kiddie pool.  I think mine was 5 bucks.  Buy the bag of plastic balls like the kind they have at indoor playgrounds.  I found them at Target and I think they were 20 bucks.  Hours of fun on a hot day when you want to keep the kiddos indoors for a while.  Here is a pic of Isabel playing in hers:

4. Lip Balm:  I am addicted to any type of lip balm or gloss.  Try Vaselina Gal Collection.  I use Red Currant.  Here is a site that sells them: http://www.jestjewels...com/vaga.html
5. Splurge:  Okay...this is pricey but every once in a while it is nice to splurge.  I bought the Coach Charleston Ladies watch with a red leather band. I'm not sure if they still have it in the store.  I got it at the duty free shop at LAX. Coach makes great dainty watches for us gals with little wrists.
6. Drink:  A margarita!  On the rocks with salt please.  I just had a great one with the cast of Furry Vengeance at the Texas Roadhouse in Danvers, MA.
7. Sweater:  I know what you are thinking...it's summer why the heck do you need a sweater?  Because I am always cold and it seems like in the summer everywhere you go the AC is blasting.  This is an awesome light sweater you can wear with just about anything:http://www.jcrew.com/..AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_..Feature_Assortment/..NewArrivals/sweaters/PRDOVR~..18169/18169.jsp
8. Snack:  P, B and J.  If you like jelly try this one: St. Dalfour.  I like strawberry.  You can get it at most local grocery stores.  http://www.stdalfour.com.au/
9. Toenail polish: I live in flip flops.  My favorite polish this year is by Revlon.  "Craving Coral".  You can find it at Walgreens.
10. Youtube clip:  I know everyone has seen this but the Cool Cat Playing the keys...never gets old for me.  And I love all of the spin offs.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?..v=2ds0GwydLkk

That's it for now.  I hope you are all well. And I'll be blogging behind the scenes of Season 6 soon!

Hello! So the SAG Awards were a lot of fun. Amazing people watching. My niece was so tickled because Susan Sarandon was in line behind her for the bathroom. She is going home to Texas with some great stories from last night. Jenna was taking a bunch of pictures and is going to do a behind the scenes blog. I am excited to see her photo journal from the whole event.

Also, a year ago (when I was preggers) I shot this little vid for my friends Alex and Dan. They finally posted it! It's about these two awkward gals trying to meet men at a wedding. My friend, Carrie Clifford, is the other gal. Check it out: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/1fb64eb681
Warning...it's kinda pg-13.

Hi everyone...it's 9pm and I am in my sweats. The baby is asleep and I'm eating some Kraft Easy Mac. Delicious. What are you doing right now? The SAG Awards are this weekend and I am determined to not be a spaz on the red carpet. Most of my pictures from the red carpet I am talking or doing a funny face or trying to do the over the shoulder pose (which is a lot harder than it looks). Folks...I am a dork and the whole red carpet thing feels so weird to me. I don't know if I'll ever get used to it. Did I tell you the story about the Emmy's last year? I told Jenna I was going to try to do a sexy, pouty pose and I ended up looking constipated and grumpy. I am excited that my niece, Brittany, is coming with me. She is in college in Texas and I am flying her out. I bought her a dress and shoes and I can't wait to see her! I miss my family a lot these days. Especially with Isabel... I wish my Mom lived right down the street. Okay... I better clean up the kitchen before it gets too late and the stuff on Isabel's high chair gets gross and crusty. Hope you all are well! -Angela

Hello Dunderheads,
how are you guys?  It's been a long time since my last blog so I thought today I'd share a few little moments....

1-We are having a real thermostat war on set.  It is the guys against the gals.  The girls keep putting little heaters everywhere and some how they end up blowing warm air right in Brian's direction.  Then the guys move them.  Then we freeze and we move them back.  Fascinating, I know but it is freezing on this set!  Jenna, Kate, Phyllis, Mindy and I are determined to win this weird game of  wills.

2-We now have a ping pong table set up in the warehouse set.  There are some pretty serious games going on over there.

3-Our hot snack for the day:  hot dogs and soup.

4-Oscar bought Isabel a little hoodie sweatshirt!  And a little dress (which she wore for Thanksgiving).  He loves to buy her clothes.  I will show up to work and there will be a little bag with a note in it from him.  It's adorable.

5-I am still pumping all day!!!  (TWSS)

6-Nbc.com loaned me a camera to film behind the scenes stuff for them but all I do is film Isabel.  :/  Sorry nbc.com.  I promise to film something soon.

7-We talk about food a lot lately?  Is that because it is the holidays or that it's colder or something?  Karen (in our wardrobe department is from Ireland) told me about an Irish dish called "A Dublin Lawyer".  It's poached lobster in a whiskey sauce.

8-Oscar is watching Wu Shu training on youtube. Oh and he is obsessed with 52 Blocks.  He just told me not to explain 52 Blocks to you.  He says you'll figure it out.

9-In last week's episode, there will definitely be a scene on the gag reel.  Rainn, Ed and I could not get through the scene where Dwight tells us directions to Schrute Farms.  We all kept losing it!  And Rainn kept making up more and more ridiculous directions.  We were a mess.

10-We were all sitting on set between scenes and Creed yelled frantically, "Help! Help me!"  We all jumped up thinking something was very wrong with him.  Turns out his computer was frozen.  :p

11-Movies we're talking about on set: Slumdog Millionaire.  Revolution Road.

12-My Christmas Tree scene in this week's episode was a lot of fun.  I did it in two takes.  I had the bruises and scratches to prove it and I was so proud of them.  I kept showing them to people like they were some kind of trophy.  I love doing physical comedy.

Oh and my friend's mom told me that I had random music on my profile page.  I don't know how that happened.  I'm not making any kind of statement with my music choice. It is supposed to be The Office theme song.  ;)

Ya'll have a good week!

My response to your response to my response.  I will not put a link to your blog.  I am too fricken tired to figure out how to do it.

Good morning Jenna.  I didn't see your car in the parking lot.  You are probably home sleeping.  I am in my trailer eating a bagel smothered with REAL butter and pumping.  Right now I am burning more calories eating and pumping than you will at the gym today.  Have fun doing those squats.

;) Angela

ps. It is freezing on set today so I turned your heater on at your desk so it would be warm and cozy when you sat down. I mean it needs to be comfy...you might want to nap at your desk while we film.

My philosophy in college was, "nothing before 10am.  nothing after 2pm." My classes were scheduled around sleeping in and napping.  Aaaah...sleep.  Of course that all seems like a lifetime ago. So every time you leave me a message about your great Sunday nap or how you just fell asleep on your couch or how you slept 9 hours three nights last week.....I start making a plan in my head of how to hurt you.  Maybe I'll kick you in the shin the next time we are in the hair and makeup trailer.  Maybe I'll give you a wedgie as we walk to set.  Maybe I'll flick a paper clip at your head during a scene.  This is where my sleep deprived mind goes.  But for today, in response to your blog....

It's 1pm and this is what I have eaten so far:

7am  powdered sugar donut

8:30am  breakfast taco (sausage, eggs, cheese, bean, sour cream and salsa on a flour tortilla)

9am CHEESE quesadilla

10am lemon bar

12:20pm watermelon and strawberries

and we haven't even broke for lunch yet.  So suck it Ms. Napsalot!

Hey guys!  I hope you enjoyed the season premiere.  We had a big fancy party but I stayed home with Isabel, and honestly there's no place I'd rather be.  She seemed to enjoy it.  Is it poor parenting that I'm letting my 5-month-old watch The Office?  Okay, don't freak out, I'm not letting her watch a lot of TV - I promise.  I've read all the books.

Some of you were confused about Meredith's sunburned face.  She actually had a talking head that explained it all.  It was very funny, and hopefully you will see it on deleted scenes on nbc.com.  How great was that Jim / Pam proposal moment?  Like a lot of you guys, I teared up.  Things for Dwight and Andy and Angela only get more complicated as the season goes.  I can't wait for you guys to watch it unfold.  And Amy Ryan was awesome.  I love that we have an Oscar nominated actress rapping with Michael Scott.

Yesterday I watched Ed and Oscar do a scene and they were flat out brilliant!  I can't wait for you guys to see it.  I wish I could say more.  One thing I love about our writers is that they are always finding out new ways to reveal different sides of our characters and a lot of times that shows itself in new pairings of people.  I love Andy and Oscar together!

Some of you have asked me about the Emmy's this year.  I loved my dress.  It was an original design by a new designer.  Her name is Jadie Kadletz.  I felt so fancy.  Oh and are you ready for this....her seamstress (Manij) is also Angelina Jolie's seamstress!  How dorky is it that I thought that was cool.  My jewelry was by Neil Lane and I had a cute purse by Kara Kurcz from Solas.  I got my shoes at the mall!  I was late getting to the red carpet and when I arrived it was really backed up.  The fire marshall actually shut part of it down so waiting in the wings were a whole bunch of TV stars.  Those moments are very surreal.  I am waiting to walk the red carpet with Alan Cumming, the cast from House, BJ and  Mindy and oh umm  Heidi Klum.  That woman is gorgeous and so tall.  It is like we are from two different planets...mine would be called Planet Shorty.  I did an interview with BJ and Jenna for Access Hollywood but I don't think they could air a thing we said.  We talked about a penis drawing in one of the upcoming episodes.  :/  I sat by John, Jenna and Phyllis during the show.  Right across the aisle was Michelle Pfeiffer and a few rows in front of us was P. Diddy (is that what he goes by now?) and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.  I didn't speak to any of them but was quietly star-struck.  After the Emmy's I went straight home to my lil' lady.  She was wearing "Baby Gap" by the way and she looked stunning!  Har har.  If you want to check out any of Jadie's designs visit: pi-tees.com.

I'll be doing some new stuff for nbc.com soon and I hope to stop by Officetally for an online chat some time next week.  And yes to those of you who asked if I did interviews with Rainn this week.  Here is an interview I did for my hometown morning news program  texomashomepage.com.  Just click on the Angela and Rainn segment.  Rainn is so much fun in those interviews btw.  We do A LOT of them and he keeps me on my toes.  At one point he was throwing Schrute Bucks at the camera.  Oh Rainn!  :)  And I did a piece for "Fit" right here on Myspacehttp://www.myspace.com/fashion.  I love shows like this because I am such a jeans and t-shirt girl and it's great to get fashion ideas from other folks.  If I buy one more gray t-shirt someone should hit me in the head.  I need to spruce it up!  How many pairs of hoodies and flip flops can one gal have?  I know, I know these are very important questions.

Alrighty guys, I hope ya'll are well and I'll have some behind the scenes stories from upcoming episodes.  I can't wait for you to see what we have in store for you.  I'm still a dork for our show after all of these years.

That's what she said,
Angela Kinsey

Hey Dunderheads!

How are you guys?  With the new baby and a full time work schedule it's hard for me to get online so my blogs might be a little more sporadic this season.  Hey new moms – do you find yourself having conversations in your head like this:  "Ooo, the baby's asleep.  I can either shower or check emails or eat or pump or call my sister back…hmmm?"   Is it bad that I often bail on showering?  I have mastered the greasy hair ponytail.  LOL.

So as you know we're back at work on Season 5 of The Office.  I've been taking some behind the scenes pictures, and I plan on doing some Season 5 vids for NBC.com and will get those posted soon.  I just got to watch the blooper reel from the Season 4 DVD.  There's a pretty funny moment the cameras caught between me and Ed Helms.  I don't want to ruin it for you guys but you'll know it when you see it.

Several of you over the years have asked me questions about my acting career.  I recently did an interview with Texas Monthly where they talked to me about my career.  I am attaching the article below.  And also, a few of you have written and asked what my nursery looks like.  Here is a picture of my nursery and my birth announcement that ran in People magazine.

I hope you are all doing well, and in my next blog I will post some behind the scenes photos.  Right now they would be too spoilery ;).  I can't wait for you guys to see these first couple of episodes of Season 5.  So much is happening and there are some of my favorite Michael Scott moments ever.

Hope you are all well!

Hi Dunderheads!  How are you guys?! I have so enjoyed just being home with Isabel these past three months.  I know we all have different religious beliefs but it is hard for me to hold her and not feel God's grace.  She is by far the best thing I've ever done.  She has started cooing and smiling.  It is awesome!  I keep dressing her up in these adorable clothes.  Monday she wore a tennis outfit that she got as a baby gift.  (Thanks Lindsey!) It might be the cutest thing I have ever seen.  And Oscar got her these socks that look like little shoes.  They are hilarious.  I made Jenna come into my trailer last week just to look at a pair of socks!  We are back at work and it is so great to see everyone.  It is like the first day after summer break.  Lots of hugs.   And Isabel is able to visit me on set for a few hours every day. Can ya'll imagine growing up with Uncle Rainn and Uncle Creed? :)  It's going to be a lot of fun for sure.  I feel incredibly lucky to see her throughout my day.  I know that when my sisters went back to work they weren't able to take their babies with them. We work long days and if I couldn't see her for 12-14 hours, I'd be a wreck.  Working Moms out there...you have my utmost respect!  I have never juggled so many things at once and been so happy and so tired all at the same time. I am including in this blog the play list I made on my IPOD for Isabel before she was born.  We listen to it as I breastfeed.  It's some good zone out music.  One day I was holding her when Shelter from the Storm came on and I was looking at her and she was looking at me and I was overcome with how much I love her.  I just started to tear up. Yep.  Me, Isabel and Bob Dylan....does it get any better than that?  ;)  I better run, I am in the next scene and I have to pump!  Too much information? :/  I hope you all are well.  Oh and Amy thanks for sending me the Isabel song.  So adorable!  Okay enough baby stuff....my next blog will be all about the show.  I promise!  Okay maybe a lil' baby stuff too.
