2. ALBUM OF THE YEAR: "I Am...Sasha Fierce" by Beyonce. Ryan co-wrote, produced and engineered on the album's second single, "Halo."

The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live from the Los Angeles Staples Center Sunday, January 31, 2010.

Hey everyone I'm pleased to announce that the 1st single off OneRepublic's new album will be premiering next week- the song is called "All The Right Moves"....we performed it live alot last year, however the recorded version is quite another animal then what we performed live- it's BETTER!!  we hope u like it- this might be the most fun energetic song we've ever tackled and I can promise you on our new album "Waking Up" there will be PLENTY more where that came from!!

I'm also pleased to announce Leona Lewis' 1st single off her upcoming album.  The song is called "Happy" and I honestly feel it is the most beautiful song I've ever been a part of.  My goal when I started working on Leona's new album was to "NOT" chase or be influenced by any of her previous hits- or any songs i've ever done with anyone else- including Bleeding Love.  True artists do not look back to previous successes they look forward to creating new moments and songs the world can connect with in a different way.   And that is what Leona has done with "Happy".  I hope u like it as much as we do, and I hope the lyrics hit u as hard as they hit me.  

That's my update folks- I'm rarely signed on to this page....cuz I'm usually in the studio or doing a 1R show and when i'm not working I'm with my wife- so, I'm sorry for all the emails and comments that don't get responded to- but I can assure u I do read them as often as possible- and appreciate all the kind words.   

**** I will be launching a worldwide song writing competition soon, looking for the world's best "undiscovered" songwriter(s), someone who has extreme talent in with lyrics and melody, and a personal drive and work ethic to match.  More details to come....  stay tuned, and get ready for the launch of my new website   patriotrecords.com
