Now we’ve had our premier in Edingburgh at the Festival Theatre. And there were no problem with empty seats. There are always five chairs reserved for a scene in the show and even them got almost taken! Our producer Annica (who just suprised us with her visit) took care of the situation by bribing them with bounce t-shirts if they moved. Haha, she’s great.
Nice to be on such a gigantic stage! During the run-through Gaby sat a bit in the audience and got a little worried whether we could reach out to the very top of the balkony with our acting and energy. Her tip was to think like a 27 year old Benke doing a solo in Globen arena. I think we all saw the picture pretty clear in our heads and did the best to put it in our bodies.
But, unfortunatly, everything isn’t just huge stage, full salon and 9 Benke’s at the moment. Dawid hasn’t been feeling well for a couple of days but he still did the show last night. Which is never good, fair to say dangerous, so right now Edo is rehearsing with Mario to learn Dawid’s part. Show starts in... seven hours. We stayed up ‘til one last night, rehearsing in the hallway at the hotel until the hotel manager told us to turn off the music and go back to our rooms. So if Edo is doing Dawid’s part, Lisa will be doing Edo and Gaby will be two characters, both mrs. Taber and Candy, who never are on stage at the same time.
So the show tonight is definitely a challenge! God damn - if we can’t do it no one can! ;) Rehearsing in the hallway at midnight. Dawid is not feelin so good...

Hey!
So the turn has come to me, B, to share what I see over here in the big E. Yeah, not bad ey? As an ice breaker I’m fairly impressed that there is Starbucks in every city, Top Shop, Nandos and all these friendly people calling me love more often than my mum. Fun fact (nothing to do with anything) is that there is 16 120 Starbucks all over the world. None in Sweden.
Just arrived to Edinburgh from Truro. Must say Truro suprised me! Happy moments are Harry’s (lightning guy) cheer leading dance when I ”nailed the gymnastics”, the Indian restaurant who had open just for us after the show and setting new audience record!
Big expectations on Edinburgh now, and so far so good! Nice hotel with jacuzzi, the theatre is the biggest one in the UK and we’ve got some Swedish support in the audience Sunday.
Now I’m gonna go look up this café called Urban Angels (same name as our dance crew back home), wear my Urban Angels jacket and hopefully get a discount.
There will be me more, that’s for sure, peace out from the tour! (Okay not so good but still)
Now in Edinburgh, this guy looks just like Benke!

Now we have been two days in a SMALL town called Poole.
Since Jennie (Bounce) went home on the last day in Cardiff we have been and
will be all alone. That does not mean that we can do whatever since the boss
Lisa is keeping an eye on us. DAMN IT! :P
The city it self was not much to see unfortenetely and it
was kind of a disapointment because everything closed at absolutely latest
18:00. There were two benefits: The theatre was near and they had a TESCO
Express close to the hotel. YES!!!! You can not imagine how happy i got :D
The shows went great, and specially the first one. It was a
HUGE amount of energie and a good vibe that everybody feelt and took it with
them out on stage. I felt that we, the first day that we performed, raised the
bar a couple of levels for what we consider a good show. Now we have no other
choice but to do a show that is at least as good as that one, but of course try
to aim higher and rase the bar even more.
That was everything from me my friends. Wish you the best

Hey….Again!
....
Two days
past by here just like that, and belive it or not it feels like I haven’t done
anything. Yesterday we were on the theatre the whole day from 10:30 to 21:30.
We were both rehearsing and having a show in the evening. Same thing today but
we started 13:00 to 21:30. Of course in between we got time for lunch and
dinner but thats it…
....
Thankfully I
was out with Dawid the first day we came otherwise I wouldn’t have seen
anything. Two unfortunately ”boring” days in Cardiff with no happenings L.
Well one thing happened I found a Tesco Express and i LOVE Tesco! The shows
went great by the way…

Next stop
Cardiff, but this time on the blogg with Edin J!
....
Hello! You
may have heard about me from Robert but for the ones who has not, I am the
caracter Mr. Harding in the show (instead of Alvaro Aguilera). I am also a
stand in for all the male caracters in the show except Robert (Billy), meaning
that if someone for some reason can’t perform I have to jump in and be that
person in the show while Lisa (who also is a stand in) jumps in and does my
roll, and YES that is a lot to think about!
....
Last sunday we
arrived to Cardiff from Sheffield after a four hour busjourney and we got that
day off :D, so it gave me a lot of time to see what’s going on in this town. I
was with Dawid all day and we went out to explore Cardiff. One thing that I
noticed, except the fact that this town has a lot of history when looking on
some of the buildings, was that it is A LOT of students living here, and quite
fast I understood why, there is a BIG university near the theatre. It felt so
good the see a place with a lot off young people and even better when I saw the
Institution of law, because I am studing law in Sweden myself. Just finished my
third year and now I got a year and a half left. While studing I am dancing
full time. Don’t ask me how I manage to do that, i just do! Anyway Cardiff
seems kind a small, but still a nice town that have something intresting to
tell me, not just as tourist but also as a student and dancer! Think I am going
to enjoy my staying here J
....
Hope you
will come to see the show. Enjoy!
....
Later… /Edin

Bianca had her first show as Miss Martini yesterday, it was great with new fresh energy from her side, and she did a great job. It was also the first show with the whole touring cast together! We had to celebrate this, so after dinner we went out, most of us, to the "CashBar", good times..
Big thanks to Alvaro who left this morning for Stockholm. Too bad he got injured and couldn't do the last 4 shows. But he was still in the show, in the audience, taking notes :)
Now we're in Cardiff after being 5 hours in a bus. The hotel is a mix of a mentalinstitution(ironic) and a 70's dollhouse kind of.. very creapy and Jennie and Eric already checked into another hotel.. can only go up from here..
New blogger tmrw, either Edin or Bianca, check it out..

Oy!
Two shows in Nottingham, first one was a real struggle, the stage was had no depth what so ever, but we stepped it up in the second show.
Arrived in Sheffield yesterday, only took an hour so we had lots of free time. Found a great studentbar with cheap burgers and beer, and some good coffee, yey.. Sheffield beats Nottingham so far I must say..
Just had our first show in Sheffield today, almost sold out, very nice, the stage is leaning alot though so we have to lock and unlock Daniels wheelchair every 2 seconds, not so nice, but a good challenge! A bit scary to dance on a 2 n a half meters high box when the floor is leaning..
Bianca arrived from Sweden this morning! She will be playing Miss Martini when Jennie leaves for Stockholm. I know I said there will be others from the cast blogging and that I will put up a list with all the names and what they're doin in the show.. I will, soon I promise!
Off to bed, rehearsels tmrw, then another show, sleep well..

Hey!
Last saturday we had our last shows in London! Mario and Joao did the show instead of Joe and Benke, and they did it well!
The last days involved more rehearsing, some clubbing and less sleep, so now we're all very tired but pleased. The response has been so great in London and we want to thank everyone who came out to see the show! Hope you enjoyed it, cause we did.
Big thanks to Benke, Ambra, Fille and Joe who left sunday for Stockholm, the rest of us, Me, Daniel, Mario, Dawid, Gabbe, Lisa, Edin, Joao, Jennie, Alvaro and Letitia will continue thru England. Bianca will join us on friday.
Now the UK tour of Insane in the Brain continues, first stop Nottingham. We came here by bus yesterday. Seems like a nice city, the apartments we're staying at are better than good, haven't had time to try the coffee but passed an espressobar, or, it was actually called Expresso bar, with an X!? I'm not sure but I hope it's some kind of irony.. please let it be.
Rehearsels today and show tmrw..
Good night!

Hey!
Dawid n Mario arrived today and started rehearsing the minute they came kind of, unfortunately Mario has a fever, but he's still working hard, props to him! So now we're starting to mix in the touring cast in the show, yesterday Lisa did Miss Taber and Candy, and tomorrow there might be a new guard on the show..
I will soon post a list with all the names and what character they're playing, so all my "namedropping" will make more sense..
Me n Benke tried what is suppose to be the best espresso in London at some italian place I don't remember the name of.. and it was really really good, but still not the same vibe as "monmouth"..
later.. /r
The theatre is almost full every night now, truly great!
