Breaking Benjamin guitarist Aaron Fink has contributed a song to the new "Concert For A Cause 7" album. The charity album, which has been released exclusively in the band's home region of Wilkes-Barre, will aid the United Way Leukemia Fund. Fink pairs on the song with vocalist Janet Rains, who has toured with artists such as Liz Phair, Alanis Morrisette, Sheryl Crow and Sarah McLachlan. The track, an explosive cover of My Bloody Valentine's "Only Shallow," features Fink on guitar, bass and drums. It was produced by Bret Alexander of The Badlees. The album, which sells for only $5, is available on-line at: Gallery of Sound

Our friends and supporters over at Cage Rattle have been dormant for the last two months, apparently holed up working on a ground floor redesign of their website. This new website, focusing on community, still has all the good stuff from the old site, but is so much better! We encourage all of our fans out there to go check out the website and see why Cage Rattle is the best rock music web portal on the 'net! They completely ROCK!!!

Label Group/EMI has signed the N.E. Pennsylvania rock band, The Drama Club; cited by critics as an "indispensable staple of the rock scene". We've got a great team behind these guys and I am excited about the future possibilities," stated F.O.F. President, Denny Sanders upon the announcement. The EP was produced by Rob Caggiano (Anthrax/Jesse Malin) and mixed by Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence/Papa Roach) features the blistering lead single "November", already one of the top songs on Sirius radio's Octane channel, as well as anthem like follow up, "Brand New Day". "Early research on "Brand New Day" and "November" are showing signs that these songs are a hit on AOL Radio. With the great listener response, I'm looking forward to hearing more music from this band," said AOL Radio's Senior Programming Manager Peter Schiecke. Over the past three years the band has honed their exceptional live show and shared the stage with dozens of bands including Breaking Benjamin, Velvet Revolver, Hoobastank, Flyleaf, Sound The Alarm, Silvertide, Leo and City Sleeps. What up, Benheads?!
You gotta hear this: Patrick Droney is a young guitar virtuoso. Only 16 years old, he's just put out his very first full length album, entitled "The Other Side". It's an amazing freshman effort and there's no doubt in our minds this guy's gonna be huge!
Ben co-wrote the track "Alive" with Patrick. You can listen to it now on his myspace page. Also working with Patrick on this debut is Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down.
The album is available in stores now and we recommend you pick it up. It is a fantastic album with catchy hooks, great vocals, and sing-along choruses. Definitely something you'll want to keep on constant play on your CD or mp3 player!
