Wassup friends!?

Well, this has been a vacation year for CSS after touring for almost 3 years non-stop!
We're chilling with our loved ones and watching loads of crappy TV shows. Our favorites are RuPaul's Drag Race (Go Bebe Zahara), Rock of Love Bus and American Idol! (Go Adam Lambert!!!!!!!)
Adriano's favorite are a bit different, and always the same: Law and Order SUV, Medium and House.
We've been spending loads of hours reading crap online. Our all-time favorite source of information is www.dlisted.com

Well, it's been great to keep up with all this TV things, but we are happy to announce that we are actually doing some gigs this summer in Europe, Asia and Africa (yey!)

We'll kick off in Coimbra on our beloved Portugal, where we'll eat loads of Pasteis de Nata.

After that we will play on All Tomorrow Parties curated by the Breeders. Yes my friends, this is the biggest honor in CSS history, together with having Donita Sparks and Jarvis Cocker on stage with us. We are VERY happy and proud to play together with one of the bands that inspired us to be the amazing people that we are today.

Next we will play in Poland for the first time, and we are VERY excited to get to know the country. I'm specially excited about the beer (I LOVE Polish beer).

Then, in July we will play a free (yes, FREE) gig in MORROCO! How fucking cool is that? Our first time in Africa! Very nice.

To close our very chilled out summer festival tour, we will be coming back to play one of the best festivals in the world, in one of our all time favorite countries: Summersonic in Japan.That's gonna be awesome. I only regret not being in the same day as Beyonce and Solange (which would be the same as Sonic Youth)... but we cannot complain! We will play in a really nice spot, and get to see all of our japanese friends again!

Well gang, that's pretty much it! Just updating y'all on our next adventures.
After that we will start to think about our 3rd record! Great year, everyone!

Css loves Canada and we promise to make it up to you guys on the next opportunity.

We very rarely cancel shows and we hate to have to cancel this one!
It's also very disappointing for us!

CSS announce today that bass player Ira Trevisan has left the group for personal reasons. CSS drummer Adriano will take over the bass duties, and live the band will work with a session drummer (a friend of the band) from now on. The band said "It will be feroche!"

Talking about her departure from the band Ira said "I decided to move forward and dedicate more of my time to fashion and other projects. Just a big change of priorities, as I will never stop playing music. I am also a bit worried about climate change. People should care more and do something about it. I decided to fly less. CSS will always be in my heart. They said goodbye to their bass player, but they won a new life time fan. In health and sickness, in happiness and so forth. Blah blah blah, so help us God. "

CSS' second album will be released in the UK in July. They are back in the UK in May for a string of UK dates on the MTV Spanking New Music tour. More news on both the album and upcoming live dates to be announced soon.
