We made it home once again in one piece! Thanks to everyone who helped out and came to shows. If you haven't seen us in a while, you haven't see the guitar slinging of the newest Old Sole, Justin Spillyards. He came with the new van, so we felt we had to let him in. Looks like the next time to check out the new line-up will be at the Democratic National Convention in Denver at the end of August, then Sticky Fingerz on the 29th. Don't take no wooden pickles.

We made it out of Florida in one piece, and with a new van! So look out for Queen Crimson, our new E150 van in your town. Tonite we'll be in Hot Water City @ Maxines, so come on out. But if you can't, check us @ Pizza D's on the 10th to kick off the tour. Check our show listings for a show in your area/town, because we would love to see you there. Also, if you want us to come to your area/town, hit us up with some info!!!

Well, we've been 'working' down in Flordia for a week, and we are some homesick Old Soles! But, we split today and take out back home to prepare for our July tour. Check out the tour dates so we can rock for you in your town/area. Chris is feeling top notch, so the shows are sure to be extra rockin'!

Just got home from a couple of shows with the infamous Avett Brothers in Huntsville and Atlanta, and we are blown away with hospitality we were shown! Even though it was our first time in Huntsville, and the full band's first time in Atlanta, we were treated like old friends. Thanks to everyone involved in any way....

I'm supposed to update this often, but it's been a koo-koo few weeks around the farm. So, sorry.
We played a fun show at the Little Rock Zoo this past Saturday. Burt Taggart and Justin Bank put on a great time called 'Rock And Roar', which benefits the furry as well as the slimy and feathery critters that live there. Lemurs are not amused by drums. Thanks, Burt, I'll send you a cleaning bill!
On the 16th we head to Nashville to rock Music City, to be followed by Huntsville then Atlanta and a few I can't recall. I may not be the most precise, but at least I'm consistent!
Also check out Chris Atwood's myspace as well as mine (Marcus Lowe) for other info and junk.

Well, we (The Old Soles) have quit our jobs and are out on the road with Chris! Rob Crowell joined up with us yesterday in Knoxville, and will be relocating from Canada to Little Rock soon to tickle the keys. Those who are hip to Age Old Hunger already know what this genius can pull off on the keys, and just about whatever else he picks up.
The next show is tomorrow night in Nashville with hometown girl Brooke Waggoner @ Third and Lindsley, so if y'all are in the area, come check it out. Bring an extra pair of socks, as yours will be blown off! Little Rockers should report to Juanitas on the 11th and send us off to Texas with a bang! We have a Dallas show the 12th, then off to SXSW.
Take care...

Hey, folks.  I was featured on NPR's Second Stage last week.  Looking forward to a string of shows coming up, both at home and away.  Hope to see you there.

I recently got to sit down with Rick Rubin.  You can read about it on the Localist Blog.  I'll be posting some other links soon about some recent press appearances Age Old Hunger has made.

Thanks,
Chris

As some of you may know, our new album, Age Old Hunger, was released on August 7th 07. We would like to invite everyone to take a listen to the songs on the myspace site as well as at christopherdenny.com. You can get the album on-line or at selected stores. You can also find the album at any record shop with a PASTE selects listening booth. There is also select digital distribution for the itunes shoppers.

We just got done with a week's worth of shows in New York as well as two shows in Fayetteville and want to thank all those who came to support the 00:02:59 showcases. Also, if you are going to be in the Little Rock area on the 24th and 25th of August you should try to catch one of the cd release shows at White Water Tavern. If you can't make it to these shows then you will surely be missed. We are really doing are best to keep the show dates updated.

Please enjoy the new videos posted on the page, and if you get time in your schedule, please let us know how you like it.

We want to thank everyone who loves and hates our music, and take the time to say you are all right on. If you get a chance to post a review or comment on any site about the album, please do so. Your honesty is inspiring.

Thank you,
Christopher Denny and The Old Soles
