Duck Sauce is the new collaboration between A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, who teamed up to craft brand new bangers in the spirit of their favorite vintage disco house tunes, keeping the good vibes intact while adding that 2009 club knock. But we'll let them explain it best in the YouTube interview below. What YOU need to know is that as of today, two of the biggest tracks from the forthcoming Duck Sauce "Greatest Hits" EP (out this September) are available for purchase exclusively on Beatport as a treat for the DJs.

Click here to buy "aNYway" and "You're Nasty", two absolutely massive summer tunes that have been lighting up A-Trak and Armand's sets for months and causing pre-release hysteria among DJs and music fans around the globe. Enjoy! And while you wait for more Sauce, let these hat-wearing ladykillers explain to you just how the collaboration came about, talk about their influences, and more.

Alexander Robotnick means "Alexander The Worker" in Russian, and it couldn't be a more fitting moniker - his tunes have worked, jacked and shook down dancefloors for the better part of three decades. Cult hits like "Problemes d'Amour" and "Dance Boy Dance" continue to be spun by DJs around the world for a reason - they were ambitious, futuristic cuts when first released in the early 80s, and remain timeless club rockers today, continuing to influence modern producers almost note-for-note.

Fool's Gold is proud to continue the Robotnick tradition with the exclusive North American release of his latest, "Obsession For The Disco Freaks." The Fool's Gold digital and 12" single comes backed by brand new reworks from some of today's current electronic masters: Nacho Lovers, Freeform Five and Li'll Bo Tweak.

Buy now on iTunes and Beatport, vinyl on its way! Check his homemade "Obsession" video too:

Volume 2 of the FOOLCAST series comes from none other than our own Italian electro prodigy Congorock, but it's not what you might expect. We listen to all kinds of stuff at FG HQ and want the FOOLCAST to reflect that - so we asked him to put together a mix of some of his punk and hardcore favorites that would show off a different side of his personality and keep things musically unpredictable on the blog.

Says Rocco: Hey brothers, here's my hardcore punk mix for Fool's Gold. I wanted to call it "The Furious Years" like something related to the past - its old stuff (nothing after 2003) that I listened to when I was younger. It was total fun working on this because I rediscovered music I didnt remember at all! I put some tracks from my old bands (La Quiete and Death Of Anna Karina), Steve Aoki sings on the This Machine Kills track (his old band), and there's even a His Hero Is Gone track called "Fool's Gold". I hope you like it!

Download the podcast (and subscribe to the whole series to get future mixes as soon as they drop!) at iTunes or via your favorite RSS reader at the FG podcast page. Tracklist after the jump, more heat on the way!

Update: For more Conogorock on the club tip, check out his Keep Watch party mix at the Mishka Bloglin. Ay!

Juke and ghetto house hero DJ Gant-Man was part of the Fool's Gold family from the start - his remix of Kid Sister's "Damn Girl" was on the back of our very first release, quickly followed by production on Kid Sis' "Switch Board" and shows around the country as her tour DJ and hypeman. So naturally, we are very proud to present Gant's new solo single and debut FG artist release, "Juke Dat Girl."

From his earliest 12"s on Dance Mania, to rocking parties around the world on the rave and club circuts alongside legends like Paul Johnson, Gant has been pushing his signature Chicago sound for almost two decades - mixing up rapid-fire juke beats while referencing all the house and disco classics that first paved the way. "Juke Dat Girl" is the latest development of Gant's hybrid approach, slowing the BPMs down to a more universal tempo but keeping the hyper, party-starting energy intact.

The banging original also comes backed with two massive remixes - an amped-up rave version from the heavily buzzed DC duo Nadastrom and a groove-filled UK funky house rework from ex-Bugz In The Attic producers Greenmoney. The entire single is a DJ must-have, so pick it up now at Beatport (vinyl on its way) and work! And juke! And work! And juke...

It's about time we started a monthly podcast, so here it goes - the inaugural FOOLCAST, done up all nice by Toronto's Nacho Lovers. The resulting "I Nacho NY" mix is, in their words, an "ode to New York house from the 1990's. Everything is either by a NY artist, NY remixer, was released on a NY Label, or just fit that New York 'sound' of the time. This is stuff we are heavily influenced by when it comes to making music." Download the podcast (and subscribe to the whole series to get future mixes as soon as they drop!) at iTunes or via your favorite RSS reader at the FG podcast page. Tracklist after the jump, more heat on the way! ..

Way back in 2007 when we were first launching the label, The Cool Kids' debut 12" single was scheduled as part of our earliest batch of releases. But when the duo decided to drop their Bake Sale EP first on Chocolate, we held back the entire vinyl run so it could be used for a future box set. And waited. And waited... until a week or so ago, when we saw that our old vinyl was starting to hit stores as-is, a random little surprise for you (and us!)

Buy it at Turntable Lab to get "88" (along with the previously unavailable on vinyl "I Rock," "Gold & A Pager" and "What It Iz"). And check for the Cool Kids full-length When Fish Ride Bicycles dropping soon, it sounds pretty fun.

As Kid Sis puts the finishing touches on her looooooong awaited LP, we went ahead and dropped this treat especially for all the record spinners out there who were her earliest supporters - an official single for album cut "Get Fresh" exclusively on vinyl and Beatport, where you can buy it today! It comes complete with brand new remixes from homies Zombie Nation (who's "Lower State Of Consciousness" as ZZT provided sample fodder for the original) and Alex Gopher. To whet your appetite, here's the Gopher mix courtesy of our friends at RCRD LBL.

Annie Mac and Andy George have already been rinsing the new mixes on BBC, and they're sure to light up DJ sets all throughout Winter Music Conference and SXSW - where you can conveniently catch Kid Sister performing live every night of the fest, including the late night Fool's Gold After Dark spectacular on 3/19. Check the info on her MySpace.

As promised, the debut single from Congorock is out now as a digital exclusive on Turntable Lab, with all other web stores to follow in two weeks (and vinyl berry berry soon!). It's the seventeenth (!!!) release on our fine little label, and we couldn't be happier.

>> BUY "RUNARK" ON TTL DIGITAL

"Runark" is a a perfect calling card for Congorock, four-and-a-half minutes of breakbeat thump and raved up 8-bit synth drops. But don't take our word for it, check the preview on RCRD LBL.

The single comes backed with an amazing extended remix by Jokers Of The Scene as well as two more new Congorock tunes, "Exodus" and "Hybro." The digital release also features an additional Runark remix by His Majesty Andre. More from this Italian original coming soon!

YEEE! Today we're proud to finally release the debut solo single by our big bay homey Trackademicks. The a-side is uptempo slapper "Enjoy What You Do," backed by huge club remixes from Flosstradamus and Sammy Bananas, and on the b-side you have the smoothed-out stylings of "Topsidin," featuring MoxMore of Trackademicks' Honor Roll crew.

Actual factual vinyl is on its way - meanwhile, you can cop the whole thing right this second from iTunes, Rhapsody and anywhere else fine digital music is sold. The Rhapsody folks also filmed Track dropping Bay knowledge for their "Rock Star Guide To The Galaxy" series, and you can watch it here.

If that's not enough, you can preview "Enjoy What You Do" over at RCRD LBL, and peep the photos from the release party in SF right here!
