Gnarls Barkley is honored in the year-end editions of Time, Rolling Stone, Spin and elsewhere for its intoxicating 2008 album The Odd Couple. Gnarls also received best-of-'08 accolades from Amazon, iTunes, Pitchfork, Stereogum and others. The video for "Who's Gonna Save My Soul," directed by Chris Milk, has also drawn strong acclaim - MySpace lists it as one of the year's top videos, many other critics agree, and it has been entered into competition at the Slamdance Festival. "Thanks!" said an unnamed spokesperson for the band. "We love people. Especially you people."

THREE GRAMMY NOMINATIONS FOR GNARLS BARKLEY
Gnarls Barkley, the chart-topping, genre-defying combination of Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo, has garnered three Grammy nominations: Alternative Album of the Year for the acclaimed LP The Odd Couple, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group for the hit single "Going On," and Best Video for director Chris Milk's controversial clip for "Who's Gonna Save My Soul." Also, for the third time in four years, Danger Mouse is up for Best Producer.
"Thanks!" said a spokesperson for the band. "You guys own." Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo were unavailable for comment due to a mini-golf tournament.
In 2007, Gnarls Barkley received five nominations, won two Grammys, and gave a characteristically cinematic performance.

Gnarls Barkley will appear on From the Basement, a show conceived by the legendary producer Nigel Godrich with the goal of capturing the pure expression of artists without interference from those who might not get it. "Gnarls has always been a visual thing," said an unnamed spokesperson for the band, "in an esoteric sort of way. So we're amped about this." The show airs this Wednesday, December 3 on the Sky Arts channel at 10:00 PM UK. It will also be seen in January on IFC on a date still to be determined.
