 So its come to be that time of year again and everyone is making lists of their favorite albums of 2009.  I personally really love reading these because not only do you get to see what other people think of certain records but you also get to find out about a lot of the music you missed over the year, which I think may be even MORE important than the opinions themselves.  You may disagree with a lot of the choices in some publications or the exclusion of some records from certain lists (ahem, Decibel…) but for the most part you really see that most fans of metal and underground music in general are very much on the same wavelength with these lists.  



Anyway, that being said I figured I'd have a stab at this whole list thing because I wanted to be a part of the 'cool' crowd.  I'd also like to hear what you guys have to say about the list, your favorite records of 2009 and how you felt the year went in music.
