Milwaukee's own FC Records is stepping up this holiday season and donating items to the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust Auction - Chi, bassist for the Deftones, has been in a semi-conscious coma following a car accident that occurred November 4th, 2008.  Among FC Records are Mark Hoppus, My Chemical Romance, Metallica, Slayer, and many bands/musicians.   More information on Chi Cheng can be found at www.oneloveforchi.com

Up for grabs are items from from Burning Empires (the new project from members of Misery Signals, Fall Out Boy, and 7 Angels 7 Plagues), merch from FC Records, an Autographed Drum Head from Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy/BE, and a Misery Signals merch package.

Burning Empires recently finished recording new material in Washington D.C., with Mike Schleibaum (Darkest Hour) for an EP to be released in early 2010.  They currently have a 7" out on FC Records, at www.fc666.com!

Hey y'all kiddies!

2009 has been a momentous year for Misery Signals, we traveled around the world, played a ton of shows and did it all with the help of too many amazing people to thank.
It has been an honor and a privilege for MS to travel to places such as Moscow, Russia, Bangkok, Thailand, and Auckland New Zeland to perform.
Special thanks to Architects,Comeback Kid,Protest the Hero,The Amity Affliction,Bane,Outbreak,The #12 Looks like you,Your Demise and all the other cool ass bands who made this past year unforgettable.

So where does that leave us now?

Well, after grinding as hard as we have this year (as well as the 7 previous years of grindage) we are planning to take a little down time from MS. A bit of time to chill out.

I know what a few you out there may be thinking when you read the words "time off", but don't fear, Misery Signals is our passion, and has been the driving in force in our lives for the last 7 years. We plan to come back at writing the next album fresh faced and inspired, ready to make a great record.

Over the next few months we plan to spend time writing our next record and working on other musical/personal endeavors.

Right now you can check out some music from Stu,Ry and Kyles project Burning Empires
http://www.myspace.com/burningempiresmilwaukee

There is currently a track from the s/t 7 inch online and available to own at http://www.fcmerch.com

The band recently recorded a brand new EP with Mike Schlibaum of Darkest Hour fame behind the board. The EP is slated for an early 2010 release. Keep your eyes peeled for a new track to be posted sometime in mid Dec.

Karl continues to tear it up with his one man solo project Solace
http://www.myspace.com/solace1234

And for those interested, Branden is teaching private drum lessons in the Madison area
http://www.myspace.com/drumswizard hit the man up!

For all you Misery Signals fans out there, you can expect a new record sometime in late 2010 or early 2011.

Til then,

Keep checking in for updates!!

As many of you may have noticed we had to drop off the last 12 dates of the BMTH tour.

Karl became very ill, we took a few days off, he wasn't getting any better so there was not much more we could do.

We apologize to everyone who had already purchased tickets, planned road trips, booked off work etc etc.

Please take a second to read a little note from Karl:

Dr. Karl's Health Report

First of all, I want to start off by properly thanking each and every one of you who has messaged me and wished me on a fast road to recovery. The feedback and concern shown by you guys really gives me a drive to get my ass back up to par. I've been home for almost a week now. I've been in and out of Doctor's offices and Emergency Rooms, and this is what they've concluded:

I do NOT have MONO.....sort of. Apparently I've had mono over the course of this past year without even knowing it (which would explain me being exhausted 24 hours a day) but that wasn't what was acting up. Finally after my throat swelled up to the point of potential closure, I dragged my ass to the emergency room. After several blood tests and an I.V. put in my arm to re-hydrate me, the doctor plain and simply told me that tonsillitus was causing the severe infection to my throat (imagine having a golf ball with razor blades sticking out of it lodged in your throat), nose and ears.

Estimated recovery time: 2-3 weeks.

So there you have it. Sorry to all the kids that came out to the remainder of the Bring Me The Horizon tour hoping to see us there. This was completely unexpected, and now that I've explained my current situation, you can understand why we took precautions.

Anyway, thanks again guys.

<3 Karl
