DIVINE HERESY — the California-based band featuring FEAR FACTORY guitarist Dino Cazares — has been confirmed as direct support to MOONSPELL on the Portuguese group's upcoming North American tour, which kicks off on October 14 in Tampa, Florida. Also appearing on the bill are BOOK OF BLACK EARTH and SECRETS OF THE MOON.

Commented Cazares: "We have been waiting patiently for the perfect touring opportunity to present itself and we couldn't possibly be more pleased to be direct support to the mighty MOONSPELL this fall. This North American tour is exactly what we were looking for as we wanted a chance to perform in front of a lot of new faces that might not have been exposed to our band. This tour marks the kick-off of a massive worldwide touring campaign to support the new 'Bringer of Plagues' album.

"DIVINE HERESY is better than ever and we are embarking on this tour with only one, simple goal in mind: to annihilate everything in our path. Expect an unrelenting set and if your jaw isn't on the floor when we finish, then we haven't done our job, but that won't be the case. Be sure to come by the merch booth each night to say hello to us all and we look forward to seeing everyone soon. It's certainly been way too long."

Sexta Feira 11 de Setembro, os Moonspell, despedem-se, temporiamente, de Portugal e embarcam para uma digressão nos EUA e na América Latina, com a duração de 6 semanas, como cabeças de cartaz, tendo os prestigiados SAMAEL e TIAMAT como suporte directo nas respectivas tours. O Festival Caos Emergente receberá assim o último concerto antes da digressão Americana, num até breve muito especial para os fãs da banda que estarão em Recarei, Paredes na próxima Sexta. O espetáculo de promoção ao último disco Night Eternal, revisitará, no entanto, temas clássicos, recuperando três temas do disco de regravações Under Satanae, lançado o ano passado e que muito raramente os Moonspell interpretam ao vivo. Razões mais que fortes para marcar presença neste último concerto em Portugal antes da tour Americana e celebrar e desejar sorte à banda mais internacional não só do Heavy Metal Português, mas de todo o Portugal.

MOONSPELL are in the list for the nominations of Best Portuguese Act 2009. As you know the band won this award in 2006 and it would rock the world to be nominated and eventually win again!!! You can vote as much as you want at:
