Got back from tour but things are still busy! The Dismantled Store is up now so if you'd like to purchase shirts, babydolls, and CDs go forth and do so while they last! Each order gets free stickers as well =)
Lastly, I'm currently doing remixes for Project Pitchfork and Dangerous Muse so I'm definitely excited to work on that. I will also be contributing a song to an upcoming compilation on Metropolis Records.
If you're interested in hiring me for remixes, let me know!
-Gary

I'm in the van driving to New Orleans right now for our shows coming back to San Diego and just want to say that we had a real blast on this tour, the best by far that we've been on! We want to thank Jason, the Combichrist manager, for putting us on as well as all of Combichrist for making us feel a part of the whole thing and being very supportive of all of us-- which would be Gary, TZA, Jon Siren, and Tlyer Goosey. Choo Choo, who happens to be Combi's soundperson and the best sound guy in the world, was exceptional in giving us all the DIs in the world and getting us up and running in record time each night.
Also, I'd like to give a shoutout to Julien-K for rocking it each night and letting us on their bus-- their tour manager Marty was quite a prankster as well as I recall an entire show where people's back were covered with Julien-K stickers! Aesthetic Perfection is definitely buzzing right now and I can see why as they really gave it their all each night with lots of energy. Ego Likeness joined us at the end of the tour and we had a good couple of last shows together, super nice folks that I'm sure we'll meet again!
Stay tuned everyone, new stuff coming soon.
Thanks for everything, -Gary

So I've had the misfortune of hosting a release party for Standard Issue V2.0 in LA with Vin who runs Normality and has a radio show hosted on Rant Radio (no affiliation to the actual station). I only agreed to do the show after I was roped into believing that Vin would honor my guarantee. It was originally scheduled for the 17th but changed at the last minute to the 27th and I made it clear that I would only do it provided I get the guarantee in advance. Vin managed to lie to me that he sent a money order to me last Fri, which never arrived.
At that point, I told myself I wouldn't do the show unless I got my money upfront before we played. After having our tour manager Tyler convince me that I was going to get half the money before we played, I reluctantly drove out to LA. Although I kept trying to make sure I got the guaranteed amount before we played, Tyler informed me that Vin only gave $100. At that point I should of pulled all the gear out of the club and left but we ended up playing anyway. Although we were promised midnight to 2AM, because of the fact that there were over 5 bands on the bill and the time got pushed, we only got to play about a 20 minute set. There was at least one person in the audience who drove over 4 hours to see the show and it was obviously disappointing to them about how the night turned out.
Of course after the show, Vin disappeared with the excuse that he was going to the ATM to get the money. At this point it was obvious that I was never going to see him or the guarantee, just as I predicted before I left for LA. What bothers me is that Vin still had the nerve to ask me for a free Standard Issue V2.0 CD before the show and asking for interviews during the Combichrist tour. I will personally make sure that Vin doesn't promote or host any other bands in LA and is blacklisted as a promoter and will inform Metropolis Records and everyone I meet throughout the Combichrist tour to STAY AWAY. Another lesson to me in how important it is to get half upfront and NEVER believe anything anyone tells you unless you do the research yourself.
Once again, if Vin from Normality pops up and decides to tell you something else, know that the guy is full of shit.
