I hope everyone's ok, haven't been on here much - the cat's been busy :-) I can tell you there's some good things in the pipeline. First up, I've got a new ep coming out on Freedom School Records, think it's Japan only though (sorry). Should be out the beginning of the year. I'm doing 5-6 tracks, couple of them are old ones that I've had on my harddrive for time, and the others are brand spanking new.I have my right hand man Thy Lord, with Finn Peters on sax, Vanessa Freeman ( vocals), Tello on percussion. I've also been working on the Legends of the Underground soundtrack with Matt and Akwasi Mensah. Sounding very good I think. The live show will be next week, so anyone who is in London should try and reach. Me and Dego are working on a next album project but I can't talk too much about that.
Just got back from Indonesia, the Bugz live band played the Jakarta Jazz festival out there. Checked Kool and the Gang, who were a beautiful bunch of people. Summer Madness was the lick - the keyboardist played it note for note, it was like being in a time warp.The Bugz band were screaming, the crowd was silent, until Cherish came out & then they made noise. But the highlight for me was the gamalang orchestra that played at 3 o'clock every afternoon in our hotel lobby.

I just love games...from a very early age I had most consoles; ATARI 2600, with the cartridges; ATARI ST; SEGA MEGADRIVE...then playstation, and more recently, Xbox. I have now gone live with the Xbox...any other gamers, my username is Blousenskirt, if you want to get whipped ( although respect to ADAM ROCK who has been known to give me a run for my money on Pro-evolution). I could easily give up the music to play games full time. Well!! Last night i listened to "Cameleon" Herbie, and Still to this day it makes me shiver. After the breakdown, Harvey does a fill on the hats. Then the most incredible 4 bars ever.... It has been sampled a few times, but that is my ultimate Tune... What is yours?
